Intel unveils new generation of processors

Intel officially unveiled its own technology for manufacture of 14 nm processors accurately, a technology that Intel aims Ki supplied by the new generation of tablet computers, and devices Aloltrabuk.
And Intel launched a manufacturing technique accurately 14 nm name "Broadwell" Broadwell, said that the first products bearing the new generation of technology will be unveiled during the IFA 2014 in Berlin next month, while will reach the first devices that support them to the market by the end of 2014.
The company said that laptops and tablets that rely on chip "Broadwell" will provide the same high performance offered by the current generation, "Hazuel" Haswell but consume much less energy, and this means radically different in the design of devices supporting the technology, where the company said that, thanks to "Broadwell" will become possible industry computers Tablets thickness of 8 mm or less.
Thanks to the low consumption of energy in the "Broadwell" which does not exceed 3 to 5 watts, in addition to the slim design, this will open up the possibility of dispensing with the fan in laptop computers, according to the Vice President of the company, "Rani Burkar."
The technology provides "Broadwell" increase in computational performance by 5 percent compared to "Hazuel" and an increase of 20 percent in terms of graphics performance and twice the performance of the engine, video and slide technique will support Direct X 11.2 and accurately screens 4K.
She added that Intel's 14-nanometer manufacturing technology has reduced energy consumption by 25 percent compared to 22 nm technology used in Hazuel also achieved twice the performance-per-watt and allowed the design of a smaller slice by 50 percent compared to "Hazuel."
